This is what I'm totally loving right now.
It smells totally amazing and it's a good pick-me-up in the early morning hours.

Post Number Two

This past Saturday we took my daughter to see Disney on Ice. She loved it! Her favorite character is Snow White. I would highly recommend seeing the show.
Since I wrote last I have tried a couple of new Campbell's recipes. I like these recipes because they are quick and easy, being a working mom that's very important. Last night I made the Baked Mac & Cheese.

It was good. Not as cheesy as I would have liked, but it was good and I'll make it again. Most importantly, my daughter liked it!

I also made the Campbell's Picante Peanut Chicken (minus the peanuts).

This was very good. I made it with rice. Delicious. I had all intentions of adding the peanuts to the recipe, but I forgot about them since they were hidden in the pantry. Oh well - it was still great, maybe even better without the peanuts!

I'm starting a new read called Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James. It has several good reviews on http://www.barnesandnoble.com/. I'm super excited to read it.

Other than that a busy week of parenting, working, cooking, etc. is halfway over. Tonight, I have my running training group at 7pm. My training groups runs Wednesday and Saturdays. I've been missing Saturday lately because I'm pregnant and those long runs have been too much for me lately. I'd like to keep up my fitness level during this pregnancy, but if I run over 2 miles I start to feel weak. Maybe it's just because I'm still in the relatively early stages of my pregnancy??

Post Number One

Okay, so this is my first blog post. I'll tell you a little bit about myself. During the day I'm an analyst. That's my job, that is what I do, but only during the weekday. When I'm not at work my hobbies include running, reading, baking, trying to cook, and playing with my 2 year old daughter. I also try to clean the house and make sure the house and my family have everything they need for the week, i.e. food, toilet paper, etc.

During my time writing this blog, I will be covering topics such as parenting, baking, cooking, books, and running as well as any other topics that may present itself. In the next few months, I'll be redecorating and trying to maintain my weight - so I'm sure those topics will be mentioned as well.

Basically this is a forum to discuss everyday life. It's a place to discuss what we enjoy and what we find annoying throughout the day/week/month. Feel free to make (curse and insult free) comments.

It's nice to hear from people who are interested in the same things, I think sometimes we (mothers, workers, cooks, runners, bakers, etc.) are so busy we don't have time to connect and discuss these topics and give each other tips. This is a place to do that.
